Hey. Remember that time when we used to create jar or war files and SSH into a box to deploy on a single server? Well, it was simpler, but perhaps that wasn’t such a great idea. Time has certainly moved on, and our releases have become increasingly advanced, featuring sophisticated CI/CD pipelines, Docker or Debian packages, multi-purpose testing, signature generation, security scans, release management, and then, when you’re done, sharing the news with the world. Whew! This presentation introduces JReleaser, a release platform for Java that automates numerous tasks for you.
